Why Hemp?
Hemp fabric is woven from the fibres of the hemp plant, a highly sustainable crop that also creates many byproducts we are familiar with like hemp seed oil and hemp seeds. The hemp fibres are used to create yarn which is then woven into fabric. Hemp crops are naturally very resilient and use far less water and pesticides than other crops such as the cotton plant.
ANTI-BACTERIAL: It packs excellent antimicrobial properties which make it last longer than any other textile fiber like cotton, khadi, polyester etc. Hemp clothes don’t become distorted even after multiple uses and washes.
ANTI-ULTRAVIOLET: It protects you from the harmful ultraviolet rays. Over exposure to the harmful sun rays can cause skin cancer and many other irreversible skin problems. Sun protective clothing can save your skin
BREATHABLE: Hemp as a fabric holds up really well, Its easy on the skin too. Hemp is really breathable. The fabric is absorbing and can be dyed in your favorite colors!
STRONGEST NATURAL FIBRE ON EARTH: Hemp fiber holds the fabric tight and tough. This makes hemp an abrasion resistant fabric.
ODOUR ABSORBTION: Other than being incredibly durable, hemp fabric also fights against microbes, if you have a bad odour then hemp clothing might be a good option for you as it prevents the growth odour causing bacteria.
GETS SOFTER WITH EACH WASH: Hemp clothes are incredibly comfortable to wear, the thing that makes it even more fascinating is that with every wash, you’ll feel the cloth getting softer (but not weaker).
